SHIPPING AND RETURNS POLICY

SHIPPING POLICY

 

For your protection, Eligére Jewelry (“Eligére”) always:

  • Insures and registers all items for their full value.
  • Requires that all deliveries are made to a physical business or home address only. We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses.
  • Requires an adult to sign for the delivery for all orders.
  • Eligére is committed to timely delivery for your order. However, some events that are beyond our control (e.g., inclement weather conditions, carrier delays or incorrect addresses) might delay delivery. Shipping fees are non-refundable. An alternative shipping method may be used when deemed appropriate to reach your target destination and target delivery date. If your order is tampered with or lost during shipment, you must report this to Eligére within 5 days of receiving your tracking number.

 

FREE 2-DAY SHIPPING ON ORDERS UP TO $10,000: We gladly offer free 2-day shipping on orders up to $10,000. Orders over $10,000 are automatically shipped Priority Overnight with FedEx.

 

SHIPPING PROCESS: All orders are shipped out of Los Angeles, California. Most orders can take up to four (4) weeks to be shipped. However, due to our offering of customized products, some items (e.g., rings, bracelets or necklaces) are made to order and might require up to an additional two (2) weeks to be shipped. Orders placed with expedited shipping will be shipped one (1) business day after the order is received. When your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation via email containing the shipment’s tracking information. Items from the Eligére collection (e.g., rings) will be delivered in our signature Eligére box. You may submit any inquiries in the comments section during the checkout process and we will do our best to respond as soon as possible.

 

SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION: All Eligére items that are shipped will require a signature at the time and place of delivery. Additional charges may apply if additional delivery attempts are made.

 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Currently, we accommodate orders in the United States & Canada only. If you are located elsewhere and would like to inquire about placing a special order for any products from Eligére, please contact us at info@eligerejewelry.com.

 

RETURNS POLICY

 

Eligére has a 30-day return policy as we take pride in our exceptional offering and aim to ensure quality service. If a purchaser is not satisfied with the item purchased from Eligére, the purchaser may receive a full refund or request credit to exchange the item so long as the item is returned to Eligére within thirty (30) days from the time of shipment or pickup. For example, if a special request is submitted for a specific (i.e., later) delivery date, then the 30-day return period begins on the date that the order is ready for shipment. Similarly, if the purchaser elects to pick up the item(s) purchased from an Eligére location, then the 30-day return period begins on the date that the order becomes available for pick up. A sale will be considered final once thirty (30) calendar days pass immediately following the delivery of an item(s) purchased from Eligére to the purchaser. To return an item for a refund or exchange, the purchaser must initiate the return process by following the steps below (please see ‘How To Return An Order’).

 

Please note that custom-made items or pieces that are altered following delivery are not covered under Eligére’s 30-day return policy. No such items will be eligible for a refund or exchange. Items that are returned to Eligére must be in their original, unworn condition and accompanied by all original documentation. Due to the personalized nature of our offering, some items cannot be returned for a refund or exchange, including, but not limited to: items that have been modified, engraved, or resized; items that have previously been exchanged; and/or custom designed jewelry. Any item(s) returned that show signs of wear and tear or usage, or those that have been altered in any way are not eligible for refund or exchange. Improperly packaged or uninsured items will be refused receipt. If changes are made to an order during production, that order might not be entitled to the benefits and/or protections of this return policy, and additional fees may apply.

 

HOW TO RETURN AN ORDER:

 

1. Obtain the Return Shipping Authorization Code: Email us at info@eligerejewelry.com to obtain a return shipping authorization code and to request your FedEx return shipping label. Write your return shipping authorization code on the outside of the package you are returning. Please note that FedEx return shipping labels only apply to certain orders (e.g., ring, loose diamond, and loose gemstone orders placed in the United States or Canada).

 

2. Packing your order: For all returns and exchanges, include all original packaging and accompanying materials, including the packing slip and all certificates provided (a $300 replacement fee per certificate will be charged otherwise, but may vary depending on the item). For resizes, you need not include original certificates and accompanying materials. For security reasons, do not write jewelry, diamonds or other related words anywhere on the package.

 

3. Shipment and Insurance: In order for the insurance to be valid with the use of a FedEx prepaid label, you must "double box" your shipment and follow these instructions. Enclose your item inside its original ring/jewelry box. We recommend using the original packaging from your order. Place the ring/jewelry box inside the medium box. Place the medium box inside the larger box. If you do not have the original packaging, please include the ring/jewelry box inside a small FedEx Priority box and seal it. Place the small FedEx Priority box inside a medium FedEx Priority box. Affix the label to the outside of the larger box and drop it off at your nearest FedEx location. Eligére is not responsible for packages dropped off in FedEx Drop Boxes or other non-FedEx locations. Please obtain a FedEx receipt to confirm that the item has been shipped; this receipt will act as proof of insurance. If you decide to use a different shipping method, you may use any carrier. For your protection, please ship your item(s) with full insurance coverage and a signature required upon delivery, and please request a return receipt to confirm when your shipment is delivered to Eligére. Eligére is not responsible for items lost or damaged during this shipping process.

 

REFUND PROCESS: After Eligére receives the returned order, we will inspect the item(s) and verify the condition of the item(s). Once Eligére receives a returned order, the inspection that follows can take approximately seven (7) business days to process. Any refunds will be made via the mode of payment used in the original purchase, with the exception of bank wire payments. Orders paid by bank wire will be refunded by check. International bank wire purchases will be refunded in USD according to the exchange rate at the time of purchase. For all credit card refunds, please allow roughly one monthly billing cycle in order for your credit to appear. Packages without a return shipping authorization number or packages that were refused delivery will not be accepted for a refund and may be subject to a minimum restocking charge of 20%. Return shipping authorizations are active for seven (7) days from the date of issue and packages must be shipped during the active time period of your return shipping authorization. If your return shipping authorization has expired, please email us at info@eligerejewelry.com to request another return shipping authorization. All requests for refunds must be in writing via email or fax.

 

REPAIRS: We take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship while using fine materials. If your jewelry requires repair due to flaws in workmanship, we will gladly repair your piece (free of charge) or replace the item depending on the circumstances. If that jewelry has been damaged due to wear and tear or usage, it can be repaired for a fee that will be determined based on inspection of the item. You must include proof of purchase from eligerejewelry.com in order to be eligible for repairs. For more information on any repairs needed, please email info@eligerejewelry.com.
